FROM THE COMMENTS: A GIGANTIC HAND

FROM THE COMMENTS….

REGARDING FRESCA, eliterrell writes: “LBJ had a Frescaman? Where I come from, we call those FRESCAMOS.”

DULY NOTED!

REGARDING UNION SQUARE, audience member MARGARET writes: “And if you’re interested, here’s a picture I drew before the reading (of the Gulliver’s Travels print by Mark Summers behind the stage):”

DULY ADMIRED!

MEANWHILE: please note: I will be in Kansas City tomorrow night, and tickets are going away quickly for my appearance with Merlin Mann HERE.

That is all.

  2. My wife and I have decided to bite the bullet for the Merlin Mann appearance and attend your Herbst Theater Program in the fine city of San Francisco.

Unfortunately, we could only get seats for the balcony. Will oxygen masks be provided? What will they cost? We probably should bring our opera glasses too (but please, don’t feel obligated to sing from “Aida” or any other opera.)

  5. HodgMan:

I am excited to tell you that I have started on the long journey of reading your latest Book of Wisdom and Knowledge “More Information Than You Require” (though I will say, “There can never be TOO MUCH information from HodgMan!”)

So far, I have read almost the entire dust jacket. Unfortunately, I became somewhat lost (I think on the spine)and had to retrace my steps to retrieve a compass, Gladys’s GPS and my son Timmy’s Divining Rod (which he made for Science class).

Before I step again upon the Path That You Have Set, do you have any recommendations of things I should bring to ensure a safe journey through your book?

    Thank you for your help.

PS: You claim at one point that you are in my house. I looked all over, but I have not found you. I have even asked My Downstairs Neighbor if perhaps you were hiding there but he only rolled his eyes and released the attic door to return to its original position. (The Ignorant have such a superior air about them, don’t they?)

Have you, by any chance, shrunk yourself to an infinitesimal size? If so, I am PRFOUNDLY impressed and you must tell me how you did it!
