With summer being just around the corner (hooray) it’s time to look ahead at what’s trending in the flooring world. It’s the season that most of us have been waiting for, where the weather gets warmer, and life gets easier and more fun! Changing your flooring is a great way to give your home a new lease of life, so it’s important to get it right! Let’s have a look at what’s looking hot for summer 2021

Oak Laminate Flooring

With modern life getting busier and inventions to help us with housework coming out all the time, it’s no surprise we all crave something practical and easy on our floors. But nobody wants to sacrifice style, so then we have a problem. Or do we? Oak laminate flooring is the perfect product to get both of these benefits. It looks exactly like oak wood flooring (clue is in the name) but with all of laminate’s practical benefits too. Very easy to clean and scratch, stain and waterproof – it’s the perfect option for your kitchen or bathroom. As well as this, it comes in so many styles, colours and also varies in price, so there’s something to suit everyone’s budget!

Luxury Vinyl Tiles

LVT have been, and continue to be, one of the most popular flooring choices on the market so it’s no surprise that it’s on this list. Most definitely the best thing since sliced bread. Perhaps its best quality is how durable and practical it is, you’ll have a hard time trying to damage LVT. As well as this, it looks almost identical to the materials it replicates, so you’re not even having to pay for the luxury of having a beautiful stone floor, LVT will do it for you!

Grey

Of course, grey is still trending. Sorry. It’s just unbeatable, with its sophisticated and luxurious premise as well as still having that much needed character and charisma our floors need. It goes well in every room in the house, but is a big jazzier than just going for magnolia walls or brown floors. Grey makes any space look instantly more expensive but is by no means dull or boring. This is our personal favourite by far. We promise if you do decide to go for grey, you will not be disappointed!
